ON THE ROAD TOUR OF SOUTHERN WOODFORD COUNTY

HISTORY OF WOODFORD COUNTY, KENTUCKY

Compiled over a 10-year period during Mr. Railey's tenure as curator at the Kentucky Historical Society in Frankfort, Kentucky, this book was first published as a series of articles in the 1920s in the
Register, the quarterly publication of the Kentucky Historical Society. Viewed by many as the most complete historical and genealogical record of Woodford County from its beginnings in the late 18th century to the early decades of the 20th century. This is a facsimile reprint of the 1938 edition revised by Mr. Railey about ten years after the original was printed in book form. 449 pages, 22 photographs, indexed by surname, soft cover, comb binding.
