This information contained in these listings was copied from the monuments in the Versailles Cemetery. Many graves have only metal markers, some have been vandalized over the years, and other burials have no stones to mark the event. In cases when markers were in doubt, the original records of the cemetery were used to clarify names or dates. The cemetery was organized before 1850, but there is clear evidence of earlier burials, many due to removals from family graveyards in the county. 188 pages, fully indexed, softbound, comb binding (1995, revised 1999).
