This book contains information from the funeral records of the Miller-Rasnick Funeral Home and the Miller-Blackburn Funeral Home (now the Blackburn & Ward Funeral Home) in Versailles, Woodford County, Kentucky. The information in this book covers the time period between August 11, 1948 and December 31, 1982. The records were provided to the Woodford County Historical Society by Steve Ward, Funeral Director of the Blackburn & Ward Funeral Home. Copies of the records are on file at the Historical Society for researchers to use. Information in this book includes the following information about the deceased: first name, surname, birth date, death date, funeral place, death place, residence, burial site, age, occupation, marital status, birth place, cause of death, name of spouse, name and birth place of mother and father, and notes. Not all entries are completed for every record. While compiling the information for this book, Mrs. Adams used the Versailles Cemetery book compiled by Melvin Hurst in 1995 to fill in some information missing in the funeral records, such as date of birth. 222 pages, entries are alphabetical by surname of deceased, other names are indexed.
