This book contains information from the funeral records of the Duell-Clark Funeral Chapel in Versailles, Woodford County, Kentucky. The information in this book covers the time period between January 11, 1917 and December 31, 1957. The funeral records were microfilmed a few years ago and the information was compiled for this book from printed copies of these microfilmed records. Copies of the records are on file at the Historical Society for researchers to use. Information in this book includes the following information about the deceased: first name, surname, birth date, death date, funeral place, death place, burial site, age, race, occupation, marital status, birth place, cause of death, name of spouse, name and birth place of father and mother, and notes. Not all entries are completed for every record. While compiling the information for this book, Mrs. Adams used the Versailles Cemetery book compiled by Melvin Hurst in 1995 to fill in some information missing in the funeral records, such as date of birth. 338 pages, more than 3,000 names, entries are alphabetical by surname of deceased, other names are indexed.
